The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creating and maintaining electronic employee Human Resources and Training files;
- Processing Human Resources and Training expense summaries;
- Reviewing and processing complete employee initial training packets;
- Maintaining and setting up conference rooms;
- Performing New Hire sessions and processing New Hire paperwork;
- Assisting with publishing monthly, quarterly, and yearly training reports;
- Copying employee handbooks, new hire packets, Human Resources forms, Training
packets, and other documents for all regions; - Assisting with interviewing, scheduling, and contracting with externship programs.
- Processing name badge orders;
- Maintaining schedules and supplies for all Richmond Administrative Offices training
rooms; - Auditing all training evaluations and distributing them to trainers;
- Updating Paperwork Tracking Database with completed training paperwork;
- Managing and distributing all orders for the Patient First online store;
- Creating and mailing letters to employees confirming their attendance to CPR, Code
Drill, ACLS, PALS, and Patient and Client Service classes; - Documenting and distributing CPR, ACLS and PALS cards once the new hire’s training is
completed; - Maintaining equipment tracking database;
- Processing and ordering daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly training supplies and
equipment; - Assisting training staff with the Employee Recognition Week program, and Halloween
and Thanksgiving events, including ordering supplies, set-up, and creation of materials; - Making travel arrangements for trainers, supervisors, managers, and DMSs;
- Assisting with ordering food for training sessions and classes;
- Contacting new hires via email and phone to confirm new hire training sessions and
that they have all required New Hire documentation for all regions; - Assisting with updating Human Resources and Training policies, forms, and memos;
- Recording minutes for weekly, monthly, and quarterly training meetings;
- Completing occasional special projects;
- Assisting Policy Management Coordinator and eLearning Coordinator with special
projects; - Assisting HR Training Coordinator with reviewing Human Resources and Training
materials twice a year for updates.
Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
- High school graduate or equivalent required;
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Minimum typing experience;
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office;
- Ability to work with highly confidential matters;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Minimum of one-year clerical experience preferred;
- Patient First experience preferred;
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds;
- Must be able to hear incoming telephone calls;
- Must be able to sit extensive amounts of time (three to seven hours).
