Carpenter

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting with facilities maintenance and repairs as directed;
• Ensuring that all requests for repair of Patient First property are performed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner, including, but not limited to, interior casework and cabinetry, and equipment maintenance;
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on center casework and turnstiles;
• Documenting and maintaining records for repairs and maintenance;
• Assisting with opening new facilities and various renovation projects for existing facilities.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Experience in equipment or facility repair and maintenance;
• Carpentry experience required;
• Good organizational skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines;
• Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds or more;
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders;
• Must be able to travel to all centers in all regions and work at facilities at different times of the day, night, or week as directed;
• Ability to evaluate emergency or repair situations;
• Must have means of travel.
