Patient Accounts Insurance Representative Assistant

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Filing of commercial claims in a timely manner;
• Updating accounts with referral information;
• Preparing documentation for scanning;
• Processing return mail;
• Working with the Insurance Representative to ensure proper filing of commercial claims.

Minimum education requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Employee must be 18 years of age or older;
• Minimum typing experience required;
• High school graduate or equivalent; Knowledge of general insurance policies;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner;
• General computer skills;
• Ability to use phone system;
• Ability to sit for long periods.
